Film Synopsis

Alex McKenna, the new girl in school, faces expulsion due to frequent fights stemming from her anger issues. Her father, Nate, is desperate when the principal suggests finding a constructive outlet for her anger.

While visiting the Diamond Fencing Club with her Dad, Alex becomes captivated by the sport, but Nate thinks it's too aggressive for her. Defying him, Alex secretly joins the club and quickly excels.

Earning a spot at the USA Fencing Junior Olympics, Alex’s newfound confidence and discipline improve her life: she makes friends, raises her grades, and begins to repair her relationship with Nate. When Nate discovers her secret, he forbids her from fencing. Undeterred, Alex competes in the gold medal bout, with Nate watching for the first time. Cheered on by her friends and father, Alex finds strength in her confidence and self-acceptance.
